Silent Movie Under the Stars returns to Taughannock on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at 8pm for its 11th year with a screening of a newly-restored Sherlock Holmes (1916) starring William Gillette. The film, released by Flicker Alley, comes with a stellar accompanying original score by England's Neil Brand Ensemble and this year, in a break with tradition, we are screening the film with the accompanying score. The event is free and open to the public. There is a $5. per vehicle parking fee in the park.
Bring a picnic, lawn chair, and blanket and enjoy lovely Taughannock Falls State Park before the film begins. There will be live music from 6:45pm to 7:45pm.
