We are terribly disappointed to have to call off our 12th Silent Movie Under the Stars due to rain, thunder and lightning last night and, unfortunately, because more of the same is predicted today, our rain date for Sunday, August 21.
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to Taughannock last night to watch Steamboat Bill, Jr., and to our production crew — the musicians of Djug Django, Jr.; Calf Audio; Adventures in Climbing ; and the good folks of NYS Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
So sorry that the meteorological gods were not smiling upon us after eleven years of beautiful starry skies. On the upside, the rain was much-needed we know.
